What we do in Austin

Recent work around Austin

Westlake — whole-home battery that works with the existing generator
Two FranklinWH aPower 2 batteries (30 kWh) and an aGate X that takes over from the old transfer switch. The house switches to battery with no blink, and the aGate starts the existing 24 kW Generac to carry a long outage. Plans approved; installing this fall.

East Austin — FranklinWH battery added to existing solar
A FranklinWH battery and aGate X added to a home that already had solar, with the solar re-tied through the aGate so it keeps charging the battery in an outage. Permitted through the City of Austin; approved September 2026.

Lakeway area — solar reconnected after a generator install
Another contractor installed a standby generator and left the solar disconnected. We reconnected it on the supply side, to code, and checked the system end to end.

Austin — Enphase system underproducing
A diagnostic on an Enphase system making less than it should: microinverters, combiner and monitoring checked, with a written finding and a price before any repair.

Solar installs across Austin and Pflugerville, 2021–2023
Aether-installed Enphase systems with commissioning records on file. We still service them.

Questions Austin homeowners ask

Do you charge to come out? A diagnostic visit has a set fee, and we tell you what it is before we book. When a repair is needed, you get the price before we start.

Battery or generator? A battery switches over with no blink and makes no noise; a generator runs as long as there’s gas. In Westlake we’re installing both on one house, so the battery covers the blink and the generator covers the long outage. Whole-home backup

My solar company is gone. Can you help? Yes. That’s a big part of our Austin solar work. Orphaned solar service
