Sound familiar?

A charger is only as good as the circuit behind it.

The panel might not have room — and nobody checked before quoting.
EV chargers pull serious, sustained current; undersized wiring is a hazard, not a bargain.
The electrician your charger brand recommended is booked out for months.
You want the charger, the battery, and maybe solar — but nobody’s looking at the whole picture.
How we do it

Panel capacity first.

Before anything is installed, we assess your electrical panel’s actual capacity. If it can take the load, great. If not, you’ll see the options — load management, a panel upgrade, or a charger setting that fits — before you spend a dollar.
We install ChargePoint and other major Level 2 brands on dedicated, properly protected circuits, permits and inspection included.
Every install is performed under TECL #35881 and covered by our 10-year workmanship warranty.

Questions

Asked often.

Which charger brands do you install?

ChargePoint and the other major Level 2 brands — including the one that came with your vehicle, if it’s hardwire-rated.

Will my panel handle a charger?

That’s the first thing we check. Load management often makes it work without an upgrade — we show you the math either way.

How long does installation take?

Most installs are a single visit once permitted; panel-upgrade cases take longer and we’ll tell you upfront.

Do you handle the permit?

Yes — permit and inspection are part of the job.

What if my electrical panel is already full?

That’s common and solvable — load management devices, a subpanel, or a full panel upgrade: panel work is our trade, and we quote it straight alongside the charger install.

Do you wire chargers for businesses?

Light-commercial charging is quoted per site — start with a service request and we’ll scope it honestly.

The technical picture

Level 2 is the whole game.

The cord that came in your trunk is Level 1 — about 3–5 miles of range per hour, fine for a plug-in hybrid, hopeless for a daily-driven EV. Level 2 charging runs on a dedicated 240-volt circuit, typically 60 amps, and delivers a full overnight charge every night. Whether your panel can take that circuit is a load calculation, not a guess: many Central Texas homes have the headroom, some need a panel upgrade first, and we tell you which before any work is quoted.

We install Tesla Wall Connectors and universal J1772 units — yours or ours — mounted, wired, permitted, and inspected. It’s also one of the few jobs we price online: the Instant Quote tool gives you the standard-install number in ten seconds, and we honor it.

The fine print, in daylight

Standard install, and what makes one not.

The Instant Quote covers the standard install: charger mounted near the panel or in an attached garage, a dedicated circuit on a panel with capacity, permit and inspection included. Some homes aren’t standard, and we’d rather define that in daylight than surprise you with it: long wire runs to a detached garage, trenching for underground conduit, finished walls that need fishing, or a panel that needs an upgrade before it can host a 60-amp circuit. None of that kills the project — it’s all work we self-perform under the same license, quoted as itemized additions before anything starts.

On install day the job typically wraps in a single visit: circuit, mounting, connection, inspection scheduling, and a first charge before we leave. Ten-year workmanship warranty in writing, and the charger’s manufacturer warranty stays fully intact because the install was permitted and inspected.
