Sound familiar?

Your panel is telling you something.

There is no room for the EV charger, battery, hot tub or new AC you want to add.
Breakers trip under normal use, or the panel face feels warm.
It is a Federal Pacific, Zinsco or Challenger panel — brands with known breaker failures.
A home inspector, insurer or the utility flagged the panel or the meter base.
How we do it

Load calculation first.

Before recommending an upgrade, we run a load calculation on your home. Sometimes load management or a subpanel solves it for far less than a new service — and if so, that is what we will tell you.
When an upgrade is the right call, we handle it end to end: the permit, the disconnect and reconnect with your utility, the new panel and breakers, labeling, and the inspection.
We install standard panels and SPAN smart panels, which show and control every circuit from your phone — especially useful with solar, batteries and backup power.

The difference

Why homeowners call us.

Licensed, not “handy”

Every job under Texas Electrical Contractor License #35881, done to code, insured, and inspected where the work requires it.

Honest scoping

If load management solves it without a panel swap, that is what we will recommend.

10-year warranty

Our electrical work is covered for ten years — in writing.
What to expect

A clear quote, before work starts.

We quote the full job in writing after we see your panel: a 100A-to-200A service upgrade, a like-for-like main panel replacement, a larger 320A or 400A service, a subpanel, or a SPAN smart panel. The quote spells out the permit, the utility disconnect and reconnect, the equipment and the inspection — no surprise line items.

Federal Pacific, Zinsco and Challenger panels are replaced on the same terms. And if a load calculation shows you do not need an upgrade at all, we tell you that too.

Solar, battery and EV homes

Plan the panel once.

If a charger, a battery or solar is on your list, the panel decision affects all of them. We size the upgrade for what is coming — and on solar homes we check the busbar and interconnection rules before anything is added — so you do not pay for panel work twice.

Questions

Asked often.

How much does a panel upgrade cost?

It depends on your current service, where the panel is, and what your utility requires. You get a fixed, written quote after we see the panel — before any work.

Do I need a 200-amp panel for an EV charger or a battery?

Not always. A load calculation tells us whether your panel has the headroom; load management often makes it work without an upgrade.

Are Federal Pacific and Zinsco panels a problem?

Both brands have documented histories of breakers that can fail to trip. We will inspect yours and tell you plainly, with a replacement quote if you want one.

What is a SPAN panel?

A smart electrical panel that shows and controls every circuit from an app — useful for managing backup power, solar and EV charging.

How long does an upgrade take?

The installation itself is typically a single day. The permit and the utility’s disconnect and reconnect set the overall timeline, and we give you that schedule up front.
