Battery design is three questions: what must stay on, for how long, and what does your panel allow. Essentials-only backup — refrigeration, internet, lights, a window of HVAC — costs less and covers most real outages. Whole-home backup is genuinely seamless but demands more capacity, and with a SPAN smart panel the middle path opens up: every circuit backed up, with the system shedding loads intelligently as an outage stretches.

We’re certified across Enphase, FranklinWH, and SPAN precisely so the recommendation can fit your house instead of a sales quota — and if you already own solar, we’ll design the battery to recharge from it daily, which turns a one-day backup into an indefinite one. Existing batteries are serviceable too, including Tesla Powerwall systems and batteries whose installer has disappeared.

What to expect

Install day, and the days after.

A typical residential battery install is a one-to-two-day job: mounting and wiring the unit, integrating the backup circuits (or smart panel), commissioning, and walking you through the app before we leave. Then comes the part most installers skip explaining: the utility. The system interconnects through your utility’s review process, and final permission to operate arrives on the utility’s clock, not ours — we file everything, track it, and tell you honestly where it stands.

Monitoring goes in your name from day one, so you’re never dependent on us (or anyone) to see your own system. After commissioning: a written record of the install, your warranty paperwork organized in one place, and a ten-year workmanship warranty on everything we touched. What moves the price is capacity, whether panel work is needed, and smart-panel integration — all itemized before you commit.
